As a critical part of Istanbul’s railway chain, Istanbul Otogar-Bağcılar Rail Mass Transportation System is the largest rail system implemented by a Turkish Contractor in a single contract. The project involves the construction of the main line, electromechanical works and rolling stocks supply. This mega mass transportation metro line has a total length of 25,9 km which was constructed by 4 TBMs with a circular cross-section of 6,50 m each. Single line length of the double track tunnel system in this project is 47,4 km. Total line has 16 stations and the line is connected with stations that intersect each other at two points: Otogar-Bağcılar-Kirazlı and Kirazlı-İkitelli-Başakşehir rail systems.
