The project involves not only the construction of a railway and highway bridge with 6 highway lanes and 2 railway gauges but also the navigable part of the bridge including piers from 13 to 17 and superstructures of these piers. The estimated traffic capacity of the bridge is 60.000 cars/day and 120 trains/day in each direction. This is the largest project to be implemented by a Turkish Contractor in Ukraine until 2007.
