Doğuş Construction signed the contract for the construction of “Çekmeköy-Sancaktepe-Sultanbeyli, and Sarıgazi-Taşdelen-Yenidoğan Metro Lines” which are the extension of existing Üsküdar-Ümraniye-Çekmeköy Metro Line.

Doğuş-Özaltın–Yapı Merkezi Joint Venture signed the contract on April 14, 2017 for the construction of ”Çekmeköy-Sancaktepe-Sultanbeyli and Sarıgazi-Taşdelen-Yenidoğan Metro Lines” which was tendered with an approximate contract value of 2.342 million TRY by Directorate of Asian Side Rail System of Head of Rail System Department of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality.

The 10,9 km-long Sancaktepe-Sultanbeyli line as the extension of Üsküdar-Ümraniye-Çekmeköy Metro Line which is currently being constructed by Doğuş Construction as the sole contractor, will have 8 stations. While main tunnels of the lines will be excavated by a TBM, 663.145 m3 of open excavation and 539.251 m3 of excavation by NATM (The New Austrian Tunneling Method) will be performed.

The 6,95 km-long Taşdelen-Yenidoğan line which will be integrated to Çekmeköy-Sancaktepe-Sultanbeyli line at Sarıgazi Station, will have 6 stations. Within the scope of the works; main tunnels of the lines will be excavated by a TBM whereas 588.367 m3 of open excavation and 229.288 m3 of excavation by NATM will be performed.

The project which also involves the supply of electromechanical systems, installation and commissioning works, is intended to be completed in a record time of 34 months (1020 days).
