The project involves the construction and upgrade of a 4.7 km section of the Mid Island Parkway Road. The works extend from the existing Saadiyat Interchange to the newly planned Khor Laffan crossing. The scope of the project includes the construction of two bridges and one pedestrian overpass, the upgrading of the Saadiyat Interchange, as well as the construction of a pump station, installation of a stormwater drainage network, implementation of an intelligent transportation system (ITS), provision of utility corridors for electricity and telecommunication networks, and landscaping works.
