Turkey's first driverless metro line “Üsküdar-Ümraniye-Çekmeköy” constructed by Doğuş Construction was ranked as Europe’s largest and the world’s third automated line by the International Association of Public Transport.

Brussel based UITP (International Association of Public Transport) which is one of the most prestigious institutions of the world on mass transportation, awarded Üsküdar-Ümraniye-Çekmeköy metro line as Europe’s largest and the world’s third automated metro line among 500 nominees with high passenger transport capacity.

Istanbul's only driverless Üsküdar-Ümraniye-Çekmeköy-Sancaktepe metro line with a capacity of 1.620 passengers per direction is followed by Rome metro line with 1.200, Barcelona metro line with 895 and Paris with 722 passenger capacity.
