Doğuş Construction, having completed over 190 mega-infrastructure and superstructure projects since 1951 with a total value of USD 17 billion, added a new metro line to its overseas operations.

Doğuş Construction-Soma Joint Venture as the Contractor and MMRC (Mumbai Metropolitan Railway Corporation) as the Employer signed the contract on October 3, 2016 for the “3rd section of Mumbai Metro Line” tendered by the Republic of India in the largest city of India, Mumbai. The signing ceremony took place with the participation of the Executive Board Member and CEO of Doğuş Construction, Burak Talu; the Assistant General Manager of Soma, DV Raju and Senior Project Management.

The project with a total project value of approximately 24.2 billion Indian Rupee and 21.8 million USD, involves the construction of 5 stations between Mumbai Train Station and Worli at a total length of 5.055 meters and 3.550 meters long double tunnel including electromechanical works. Estimated completion time for the project is January 2021.
